Several routes are to be discovered in the region: embark on the Vélo Francette, which runs along the Mayenne, or put on your shoes to admire the Bizeuils peat bog.
Villages that blend charm and character
Around Laval and your accommodation, numerous villages are worth a visit. Each one will charm you with its history and authenticity.
For example, head to Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes to discover its castle and stroll through its cobbled streets. Lassay-les-Châteaux and its rose garden are sure to charm you. Parné-sur-Roc, designated a "Petite Cité de Caractère" (Small Town of Character), is also a must-see.
Among the most beautiful villages in Mayenne, you will also find: Saint-Denis d'Anjou, Saulges, Fontaine-Daniel, Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve or Chailland.
